Hi Tim Piglet Conrad, and every body else who love flight sim
My name is Abie Sada and here is something that I have started to enjoy doing.

Firstly I would like to thank everybody who build this fantastic model (Tim Piglet Conrad),credit must go to all the parties in volved.I now use this in my latest flight sim x as well with a few mods to the panel though. This is my first attempt in repainting aircraft, so please don't get mad with me if I have not followed any rules, I am new to this and would love to help out where I can, at the same time if anybody feels offended by me repainting their aircraft, I am sorry for standing on your toes, but please read bellow and you might understand why I did repaint this model.I still use all your painted aircraft in my flight sim as air traffic in 2004.

Sasol Airobatics Team use this L-29 Delfin Jet Trainer in many of South Africa's top airobactics displays. The team is very dedicated and have many experianced pilots in the team. Sadly they lost one of these L-29 Delfin Jets and the piolt prior to an air show just short of the airbase in Cape Town during this year 2006. Sadly the pilot was killed when the plane hit the water after a low fly past before coming in for landing. I dedicate this repaint ( my first attempt) to the Pilot Martin who was killed in the incident,he died in something that he loved. I hope that nobody takes offence to me repainting this plane, and hope that they could also share with me and Martin's fellow pilots the joy of this plane in its glorry. This one's for you Martin.... may you rest in peace. THanks to the people who spent hours making this fantastic model (Tim Piglet Conrad) hope that every body else enjoys this plane as much as I do.

By the way anybody found out how to import air traffic into the latest flight sim x? please help me.... I enjoy painting planes now and I am working on a fleet of the old South African Airways planes in their old colours.( Thats if no body objects?) Please contact me abies@mweb.co.za

Thanks again

enjoy the flight!!!!

FS2004 Aero L-29 Delfin

The Czech Aero L-29 Delfin Jet Trainer first flew in 1959. Eventually over 3000 were built, and served as the standard(except Poland) Warsaw Pact trainer in Czechoslavakia, USSR, East Germany, Hungry, Bulgaria, and Romania thoughout the '60's to '80's. L-29's went on the serve in Syria, Indonesia, Uganda, Egypt, Iraq, Mali, Guinea Republic, and Afganistan, were some still serve. A good number are on civil registers in several countries.
NATO code name "Maya"

Installation:
1)After downloading the zip, locate it, and extract the file to a temp folder.
2)Copy Folder L-29 to your FS2004 Aircraft Folder
3)Everything should be in the right place and subfolder.
4)If present, copy any gauges into your FS2004 Gauges Folder. You may already have some of them, so you don't have to overwrite or reload them. Choice is yours.
5) Copy the l29_02, l29_glass, and l29_aircrew textures from the base texture folder over to the .vvs, .saf, .uaf, and .ddr folders. I do this to cut down on download size. HOWEVER, the Ugandan textures have their own aircrew textures, so don't copy the l29_aircrew texture to the uaf folder.
6) If you have any problems, look at the Folder of a plane you know that works in your Sim. See how it is made and arranged.

BEFORE YOU FLY!.......

Copy the GaugeSound.dll file into your FS Main Folder. Easygauge 2.0, what I used to make gau's, says this file is needed. If you already have one of my later planes, you most likely have this file already installed.
SIM WILL CRASH IF NOT INSTALLED!

NOTAMS:
Make sure you copy over the textures as in 5) above.
The L-29 was a more sedate performer than, say, the T-33, due to lower power. If you are used to my T-33, or other high permormance jets, the L-29 will seem like a slowpoke, so try not to be in a hurry:-)
Gunsight Controls:
In 2D View, use the Sight switch next to the gunsight.
In VC View, simply click on the sight glass to activate recticle.

Enjoy!
This aircraft was built to the best of my skills, knowledge, and simply to my own tastes and standards.
If something is "missing", or "wrong", oh well, you got it for a good price:-) For a one-man shop, I think I do pretty well:-p

As for repaints, new versions, etc. I have no idea if, when, or what. So please, no "placing orders".
These files shouldn't harm your computer, but I accept no responsability for their use and effect.
Play with it,do repaints, give to friends or enemies(SEE BELOW), but do not make money off of it without my express approval. This also goes for any other peoples' files in this release.

Also,if you want to re-post the plane, or its repaints, on your site, or another site, please ask me first:) I usually say yes, unless my plane been too corrupted or hacked by you or others. MAKE SURE YOU READ AND ABIDE BY THIS, !!!

I only upload to SurClaro, and Sim-Outhouse.com., and sometimes SurClaro.com If you find one of my planes anywhere else, I cannot guarantee its integrity. Whoever re-posted the plane might be better able to help you if you have any trouble, if he did any mods and left an e=mail addy
I have nothing against other sites, I just want to keep things simple, and easy to track.
Good Luck, and have Fun!
